What this site collects
This website does not use advertising trackers, third-party analytics pixels, or behavioral profiling. Two things collect information:
- The contact form. The name, phone number, email address, matter type, and description you choose to enter are transmitted to the firm so it can respond to you.
- Ordinary server logs. The web host records standard request data such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, for security and reliability purposes.
The site loads a web font from Google Fonts, which involves a request to Google's servers. No cookie is set by that request.
How information is used
Information you submit is used only to respond to your inquiry, evaluate potential conflicts of interest, and, where an engagement follows, to represent you. It is not sold, rented, or shared for marketing purposes.
Confidentiality
Because contacting the firm does not by itself create an attorney-client relationship, information submitted before an engagement is signed may not be protected by the attorney-client privilege. Once the firm represents you, communications are governed by the Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct and applicable privilege law.
Retention
Inquiries that do not become matters are retained only as long as needed for conflict-checking purposes. Client files are retained according to the firm's file retention practices and applicable professional obligations.
Your choices
You can ask the firm to delete an inquiry you submitted by emailing hassan@zaarourlaw.com. Requests relating to an existing client file are handled under the firm's professional obligations.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If the firm adds analytics, call tracking, advertising pixels, or a client portal, this policy will be updated before those tools go live.
